Some people travel to escape from life. We travel to experience it, understand it, protect it, and share its story with the world. We all need a way to earn a living, but money is not life itself. Alongside my business activities, I always make time for what I truly love — Action Travel. I have never looked at travel the way everyone else does. My vision is different. There are many people and teams travelling across Sri Lanka. But what we do is different. Lanka Midnight Hunters Travel Team is an Action Travel Team with its own unique identity. We are not simply an Adventure Travel team. For us, Action Travel means going beyond the ordinary — exploring the hidden and ancient history of Sri Lanka through remote forests, difficult terrain, mountains, valleys, and challenging environments where encounters with elephants, leopards, bears, and other wild animals are possible.

But there is something even more important behind every journey. We are a team that loves nature, respects the environment, and is committed to protecting Sri Lanka’s wildlife and natural heritage. We do not enter the wilderness simply to conquer it. We enter it to understand it, respect it, document it, and help others appreciate why it must be protected. Every journey demands awareness, discipline, teamwork, courage, and respect for nature and wildlife. Some situations cannot be predicted. When the unexpected happens, we face it together, make decisions together, protect one another, respect the wildlife around us, and move forward as one team. That is what a challenge means to us. That is what Action Travel means to us. The people in this photograph are not simply travellers. We are a team. A team that stands together when challenges become difficult. And the greater the challenge, the greater the energy it gives us.

I am genuinely proud of every member of the Lanka Midnight Hunters Travel Team. We are also proud to have received recognition and awards for our work and achievements. But our journey does not end here. Countless hidden places, forgotten stories, ancient histories, incredible wildlife, and wild landscapes are still waiting to be discovered in the heart of Sri Lanka. We will continue to explore them — with passion, responsibility, and respect for every living creature we encounter. Through our videos, documentaries, and stories, we will continue sharing these journeys with the world and showing why Sri Lanka’s natural heritage deserves to be protected for generations to come. This is not simply travel. This is our passion. This is our responsibility. This is our team. This is Action Travel.
